1. Who we are
Alegna ALS, LLC ("CareHub", "we", "us") provides care-operations software to personal care homes, SFC providers, and home care agencies. Our headquarters is in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone, organization, role, billing address.
- Operational data: resident, staff, scheduling, compliance, and family-update records you enter.
- Usage data: log files, IP address, browser type, feature usage, AI prompt history.
- Payment data: processed by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor; we do not store card numbers.
3. How we use your information
To deliver and secure the service, draft AI content you request, send important account notifications, comply with legal obligations, and improve product quality. We never sell your data.
4. Protected health information (PHI)
CareHub is designed with HIPAA-aware safeguards. Subscribers acting as Covered Entities or Business Associates remain responsible for compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and state-equivalent rules. A Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is available on request for qualifying customers.
5. Data sharing
We share data only with: (a) sub-processors who help operate the service (cloud hosting, email delivery, AI inference, payments) under written confidentiality and security obligations; (b) authorities when required by law; (c) parties you explicitly authorize.
6. Data retention
Operational data is retained while your subscription is active. Cancelled accounts are retained for up to 90 days for restoration, then permanently deleted. Some records may be retained longer where required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
7. Your choices
You may access, correct, export, or delete your account data by contacting privacy@alegnacare.com. Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, and other states with privacy laws have additional rights.
8. Security
We use bank-grade TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, role-based access controls, audit logging, and routine third-party security testing. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users of confirmed breaches as required by law.
9. Children
CareHub is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
